Saas Fee

Saas Fee is a delightful village perched high in Valais region at 1800m. Known as “the pearl of the Alps” the resort has an enviable snow record and offers a long winter ski season from December to mid-April and summer skiing up to 3600m. Saas Fee has over 100 km of marked pistes suitable for all standards of skier and the snowboard park is a magnet for the acrobatic. In summer, Saas Fee offers superb opportunities for mountain walking, climbing and biking among the highest peaks in Switzerland. Trails are well marked and there is an excellent mountain guiding service for the adventurous. The village is car free and offers a variety of shopping, eating and entertainment on its attractive cobbled streets. Apres-ski and nightlife is relaxed and varied and caters for all generations. There is also an excellent sports centre, ice rink and indoor swimming pool; in the summer golf is available. Access from major cities such as Geneva and Zurich is easy by road or rail and for an excursion, Zermatt is less than an hour’s drive away.

Chalet Jungwald

Chalet Jungwald is a new apartment located in an enviable position at the top of Saas Fee. On three floors, the apartment is spacious and offers fabulous views across the village to the Mittaghorn peak. It is located 75m from the nursery slopes and is 10 minutes walk from the centre of the village. On the middle level there is a spacious living/dining room and kitchen. The living room offers comfortable seating, cable TV/DVD, CD/radio with mp3 connection and Wifi broadband. The dining table seats eight. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard. There are three comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the upper floor and has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath. The second bedroom is also on the upper floor and has twin beds and en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom is on the middle floor and has twin beds; there is an adjoining shower room. All bedrooms have DVD players with cable TV also routed to the master bedroom. On the lowest, entry level, there is a storeroom for skis and boots which features a boot dryer/warmer.
